I’ve been in the business of helping people make choices
and create positive changes in their lives for most of my life. It brings
me considerable joy to help others reach their potential or find greater
satisfaction with their lives and relationships.
I have been through breast cancer and all the treatment that goes with it and found hypnosis to be a valuable tool for undergoing chemotherapy.
More than 25 years ago, I took a look at myself and realized that alcohol and cigarettes were starting to get in the way of me reaching my greatest potential. After making the choice to give them up, I began to see the positive changes in my life. As a single parent, I was able to raise a healthy, happy daughter — one of my most significant accomplishments. Along the way, though, I gained insight into some of the most challenging issues women face — overcoming divorce and balancing financial pressures, family commitments and the stress that life brings.
Following successful careers in sales and real estate (where I counseled my clients on business matters), I transitioned my career again, and started a successful business that allowed me to follow my desire to help people in a more profound way. By helping counsel people on life issues, I could help them overcome barriers in their lives, much like I had. In 1988, I discovered that hypnosis was a valuable and effective tool for my clients. It proved to be successful because it made the process easier for people to overcome disruptive behavior. And in many cases, hypnosis helps unearth underlying issues that may have been suppressed for many years by the subconscious mind. Once these issues are identified and acknowledged, you can begin to address how and why they have led to your behavior and then move forward with your goals and a more rewarding life. I do not do psychotherapy, but when it is necessary to assist my clients, I will work closely with other professionals who may need to treat specific conditions. Psychotherapy is often useful in helping people deal with emotional issues that stem from childhood experiences. Hypnosis is a useful tool that I use to help adults change their behaviors.
I am a certified practitioner with the National
Guild of Hypnotists, Inc.
As a life coach, I specialize in helping people make choices to create positive
change. By achieving self awareness, followed by clarity of focus, together
we help identify what motivates and fulfills you, what limits you, and
what steps need to be taken to help put you on the path to achieving your
goals. If you have a destructive habit, like smoking or eating problems,
or if you wish to lose weight but haven’t been successful, I can
help you find a solution and then motivate you to move forward.
